Youthful Killer Given Life Sentence with Lowest 16-Year Duration
A 15-year-old youth has been punished to life imprisonment with a minimum duration of 16-year period for the killing of another schoolmate the deceased during a lunch period.

The defendant knifed Harvey, who was also 15, into the chest with a weapon at the All Saints Catholic High School in the winter month.
The judge revoked the anonymity order on the killer during the punishment phase at Sheffield Crown Court.

Caroline Willgoose stated she felt "as if a heavy weight has been taken off my person" following the judgment.
Both youths had beforehand disputed over social media in the days prior to the deadly encounter.
Mrs Willgoose mentioned she was pleased the base duration had been set above the statutory minimum of 15 years.
"My parent has been undergoing medical treatment through the trial and he just couldn't hold on any longer," she said.

Prior to the killing on the third of February, Khan and the deceased had adopted different sides in a different dispute between additional students.
Surveillance video from the day of the incident revealed the assailant coming near Harvey in the outdoor area soon after midday.
Bystanders recounted a scene of "confusion", with individuals "scattering, yelling throughout" during the brutal incident.
Legal Trial
Throughout the court case, Khan testified he had not meant to murder the deceased or cause him serious harm, stating he could not recall what had occurred.
The prosecution countered that he had "wanted to show he was formidable" and "understood exactly what he was carrying out".
"You were the instigator and... you proceeded in hurt and fury at what you considered to be his treachery of your friendship," declared the judge during sentencing.
Fallout
The school issued a statement conveying that Harvey was "greatly missed every daytime by the entire educational community".
Investigators highlighted the devastating results of carrying blades, commenting that a "momentary decision" can forever transform various lives.
